About the Program
Pre-Register Below
The Student and Family Support Program is designed for families that work outside of the home and need additional support when their elementary school aged children will be at home during the school day. Because of the coronavirus pandemic schools will not be hosting students on site. The school districts are expecting parents who work outside of the home to make arangements for the supervision of their children. Many parents are not able to make such arrangements.
This program will provide in-person learning assistance, support and instruction for students grades K-6 at the Holgate Street Church of Christ located at 2600 South Holgate Street in Seattle.
The academic support will assist students with their online learning assigned to them by their public school teacher. Instruction will also include improvement in math and social emotional skills.
Your child will be able to participate in one of two four-hour sessions to be held Monday – Friday beginning on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. The morning session will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and the afternoon session will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. With additional funding, the program will be expanded to a full eight hour per day program. The program will serve a maximum of 40 students (20 per session).

Covid-19 Prevention
All precautions will be taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. First, the program is being limited to 20 students per session. This will enable us to maximize the spaces where each student will be stationed, thus maximizing the physical distances between each student. Additional precautions will include taken each student's temperature daily, wearing masks, and sanitizing all surfaces.
